Financial partnership

How does the financial partnership work?

AFES Apprentices, in partnership with MTS, are supported through their two year ministry training through the prayerful and financial partnership of supporters, graduates and churches.

The prospect of raising your own partnership may seem daunting. But with the excellent training provided, the support and coaching offered, and with the joy God gives as God’s people partner in God’s gospel work - the partnership raising aspect of an apprentice’s ministry training can be one of the most rewarding.

More details on AFES’s theological convictions regarding gospel partnership, on the AFES partnership-raising model, and on the specifics regarding AFES Apprentice support-raising targets may be obtained, on request, from the AFES staffworker you’re in conversation with.

AFES Value 6 –
Partnerships in Prayer and Finances

AFES values our partnerships in the cause of the gospel on campus with supporters, graduates, churches.

"I must admit while considering taking up an apprenticeship, I did feel a little daunted by the prospect of support raising. However, I am grateful to God for the opportunity to be trained in raising financial and prayer partners. I’ve learned that it is a very practical application of many biblical truths - how we can depend on our faithful God and His people, how the gospel unites different people to work together in the same mission, and how we can bring our needs to God in prayer. I won’t say that it’s easy, but it has been so rewarding to see God repeatedly provide in often quite unexpected ways! He is so faithful and good!"
